At the bottom of this page is displayed a working calendar of the First Nations' Futures Institute (FNFI) in more detail.  This year's Institute will run from 17-29 October, 2010.

The First Nations' Futures Institute is held at Stanford University in the early Fall and is a required academic program consisting of various lectures, presentations and dynamic learning experiences of disciplines necessary to satisfy undertaking the overall program's purpose.  Social, economic, environmental, and cultural aspects are covered thoroughly in this intensive two-week study.  Professors from Stanford University and leading experts in the varying fields serve as instructors.

Fellows are expected to complete this program as part of the requirement for the First Nations' Futures Program (FNFP) and requisite for attaining a Certificate from Stanford University (after satisfactory completion of the entire year in FNFP).

As their final requirement, fellows from the previous year's Institute will also present seminars to the incoming cohort about their experiences and reflections of the program.
